The "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" preference pane should be renamed. It currently serves as the place where we manage various accounts, from email to CalDAV to Twitter and Flickr. Putting all these under the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" umbrella doesn't make sense.

Additionally, novice users may get confused and expect that this is where they manage their Contacts and Calendars app, which is not the case.

And, "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" is a really long and inelegant string. This should be renamed to "Accounts".

+1

Actually, the user accounts prefpane is already named "Users & Groups". Still, to eliminate ambiguity, "Internet Accounts" might be a good idea.

I think "Internet Accounts" is the best name for this.

Just wanted to +1 this.

That would be best solved but renaming the almost-never-accessed "User Accounts" prefpane to "Users". Either way, it's not more confusing than Flickr being under "Mail, Contacts, Calendars", and the apps Contacts and Calendar being elsewhere.

Could be confused for local user accounts

The problem is that people might get confused between 'User Accounts' which they use to log in to their computer, and 'Mail/Contacts/Calendar/Twitter' accounts.
