App Store math does not accurately reflect the star ratings given by users. 17/4 is, for example, slightly over 4, not 3. See http://arstechnica.com/journals/apple.media/StupidMathHeyMon.png

What about uninstall rating?
Is it possible that the average rating is being influenced by more than just the 4 reviews, such as the new alert that asks you to rate an app when you uninstall it?
