UIAutomation fails to launch using Xcode 6 Beta

Summary:
When launching a blank script for UIAutomation using Xcode 6/Instruments 6, it fails immediately with the error message "An error occurred while trying to run the script".

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new project in Xcode 6
2. Select an iOS Simulator (I used the iPhone 4S and 5S simulators)
2. Launch the instruments selector by holding down the run button and choosing Profile (the calipers icon).
3. Select UIAutomation
4. Hold down Option and press Profile
5. The UIAutomation instrument will launch and fail immediately

Expected Results:
The UIAutomation script launches without any errors.

Actual Results:
The UIAutomation script immediately fails with the error message "An error occurred while trying to run the script".

Any update on this issue?

I have the exactly same issue using Instrument with iphone 5s running ios 8

Otherwise testing with Instrument and Simulator is ok

I think they have updated Instrument (my version is 6.0 (56156)) to work with Simulator but they didn't fix for real device.
